Wednesday, June 19 - Preconference tour*
Enjoy a scenic ride to the historic Santa Fe Plaza
on New Mexico's famous train, The Rail Runner.
Founded in 1608, Santa Fe is the oldest capital city in the United States. With more than five museums and scores of art galleries within walking distance of the downtown Santa Fe Plaza, aka The Palace of the Governors.
Eating out is a major pastime in Santa Fe with many restaurants ranging from high-profile chefs to more affordable options. The day’s journey will break for a delicious lunch within walking distance of the plaza. After lunch will be more time for shopping or museum visits. At the end of day, we will return to Albuquerque on the train. The fees for this excursion will be paid individually.
Following our return to Albuquerque, you are invited to a tour of Headquarters. Light refreshments will be provided.

Thursday, June 20 - Preconference tour*
Take a ride to the top of the Sandia Mountains on the world's third longest single span, The Sandia Peak Tramway. The Sandia Crest towers above Albuquerque at an elevation of 10,678 feet. The mountain is home to the Sandia Mountain Wilderness Area, part of the Cibola National Forest where we can hike Alpine forests and meadows and enjoy wildflowers and wild life.
Enjoy spectacular views and dining at the top of the crest at the the High Finance Restaurant.
A special $38 rate per-person has been arranged, including lunch and the round-trip tramway fare.
Reservations and fees are required in advance for this trip. Please send your check for $38 to The Church of Light and note in the memo for Sandia Peak Tramway Tour.

Early Registration Check-In
Preconference Intensive*
The Alchemy of Progressions
9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Christopher Gibson, a professional astrologer will facilitate. In this three-hour workshop, the participant will learn how to read a progression report in order to determine upcoming trends in their life. Each registrant will be taught how to look at his or her chart from the perspective of what patterns in consciousness might be stimulated under particular progressed aspects. Special attention will be placed on harmonizing discordant planets and aspects using affirmations, visualizations, environmental factors and behavioral changes. A donation of $45 is suggested as a fundraiser for The Church of Light.
Annual Business Meeting
4 to 5:30 pm
This is a great way for the membership to become informed about activities and goals at Church of Light Headquarters. As a membership organization this is also your opportunity to vote for directors and give your input on any items of discussion.
The Order of the Sphinx Initiations Ceremony
7:30 to 9 pm with a reception to follow
Initiations are a highly anticipated feature of Church of Light conventions. They are a time when members are formally inducted into the organization, as well as marking grade and degree changes. This inspiring ritual will be officiated by Hermetician members of The Order of the Sphinx on Friday evening. If you have any questions about your eligibility or grade level, feel free to contact us at headquarters.
Initiations are open to all qualifying Church of Light member convention attendees.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to participate as an Initiate in the ceremony by checking the" I would like to be initiated" box on the brochure registration form.
Saturday, June 22 -
Registration Check-in and a full day of Speakers 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Our lunch menu will include: Tossed Caesar Salad w/Fresh Parmesan Cheese; Pesto Pasta Salad; Grilled Chicken Fettuccine in an Alfredo Cream Sauce; Pasta Prmavera tossed with fresh veggies; Tiramisu; Coffee and Iced tea.
Awards Banquet* 6 to 7:30 pm. Our dinner menu will include: Chicken Fajitas w/Sweet Peppers and Onions; Cheese Enchilada Casserole; Seasonal Mixed Greens w/Ranch and Italian dressings; Taco Salad; Assorted Sliced Fruit Tray; Pinto Beans, Spanish Rice, and Calabacitas; Flour Tortillas; assorted Fruit Empanadas and Biscochitos; Coffee and Iced Tea.

After the Awards Banquet, we are extremely excited and proud to announce that Clan Tynker will be performing.
Clan Tynker is a family of siblings who perform a wide variety of talents in a whimsical "Old World" style of entertainment.
Their show features an impressive kaleidoscope of juggling skills, magic, comedy, Central Asian and Middle Eastern dance, sword swallowing, and much more!
Live music performed on an eclectic variety of instruments accompanies these dazzling performances.

The Hogwart's Reunion Costume Ball and Dance Party

Our lunch menu will include: Assorted Sliced Fresh Fruit Tray; Seasonal Mixed Greens w/Ranch and Italian dressings; sliced Roast Beef, Honey Ham, Turkey Breast, and Portabella Mushrooms; assorted Cheese Board; Lettuce, Tomato Onions, and Pickle Spears; Sandwich Rolls; Cherry Cobbler; Coffe and Iced Tea
Your price of admission to the Convention 2013 includes:
The Annual Business Meeting, Initiations Ceremony, Saturday and Sunday programs, two buffet lunches, coffee service, the Awards Banquet, Clan Tynker, and the Hogwart's Reunion Costume Ball.
* Transportation to and from the Rail Runner and Sandia Peak Tramway will be provided, but fares and lunches are the responsibility of the participants. There are separate fees for the Preconference Intensive, additional guests for the Awards Banquet, and late registration.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE CONVENTION -
Please be aware that the registration fee to attend the convention covers the cost of food and beverage only. For that reason, our volunteers and speakers are responsible for their own hotel expenses, convention registration fees, and travel expenses.

Advertising in the program is a great way to promote your talents, services, or just to welcome attendees. Our rates are based upon accommodating an average business card equaling ¼ sheet.
