April 1924 -June 1954
The story of The Brotherhood of Light Astrological Research Department and its quest to discover the facts ofastrology
The Astrology Revolution tells the extraordinary story of The Brotherhood of Light and Church of Light Astrological Research Departments and how, between June 1924 and June 1954, they changed our understanding of astrology and brought us out of the ignorance and into the light.
It introduces you to the stars of the show and provides a detailed account of the quest to discover the facts of astrology including the challenge to establish a scientifically valid research method, the role played by Brotherhood of Light teachers and members in providing birth data, the development of Astrodynes and the introduction of measurement into the research model. More than Brotherhood of Light history this is an astrology textbook and a guide to explaining just how astrological research is conducted.
Hermetic Science:
-An Investigation to Test the Accuracy and Reliability of the Planet Prominence Rule
This highly-recommended PDF ebook by D. W Sutton is a companion book to Astrology Revolution, by the same author. It takes a fascinating look into the standard astrology “planet prominence” rule and its effectiveness when compared with using Astrodynes in determining planet prominence.
All things considered the most important matter in astrological work is the assessment of planet prominence. A planet's prominence – in any birthchart – measures its ability to impress its influence upon the life. And the most important factor in astrological research is the integrity of the research model used to determine planet prominence.
This book is a great tool for sharpening your astrological chart analysis skills. It explains the planet prominence rule, how to use it and discusses issues that commonly arise. It then explains how to determine planet prominence using Astrodynes, C. C. Zain’s great tool for numerical chart analysis.
The book analyzes 100 example charts of notable persons, comparing the results of using the traditional astrology prominence rule with results from using Astrodynes to determine planet prominence and the impact on chart analysis results.

So, Astrology…whatever you thought, think again explodes the myths and explains the facts.
This book allows you to boost your understanding and to re-think your ideas about the science of the soul and stars at a time when its subject matter is widely discredited and flagrantly abused.

The Birthchart and Its Psychological and Environmental Correspondences
by
D. W. Sutton
Downloadable PDF eBook
Having constructed the natal horoscope, a map of the heavens that locates the zodiac signs and planets at the birth time and date as viewed from the birthplace, the question arises ‘what does it all mean?’
What is this map really all about and what do the planets, zodiac signs, houses and aspects really indicate?
The function of this book is to answer and explain these questions.
Primarily the birth chart is a map of the unconscious mind or astral body of the person then born. The unconscious mind holds within its organization all the experiences and states of consciousness that the soul has had up to the time of its human birth and these states of consciousness form the character. The astral body is a form built by mental and emotional states; and the birth chart, which is a map of these mental and emotional states, conveys to the student of astrology precise information regarding these mental factors and their relations one to the other and how they affect the abilities and character, and therefore the destiny.

Sutton puts together reams of research to commemorate the 100th aniversary of Elbert Benjamine beginning his writing of the Brotherhood of Light lessons in March 1914. To commemorate this 100 year milestone, Sutton has compiled a detailed history and chronology of their writing, revision and rewriting from the start date to their completion in 1949.
This book provides a commentary on Elbert and a detailed time-line of the many other articles and books he wrote.
Sutton provides an invauable historical resource drawing from a number of reference sources, including The Church of Light Quarterly from 1933 to 1951, the current Brotherhood of Light lessons and the original versions, The Brotherhood of Light Annual published from 1920 to 1932, promotional material written by Elbert and the magazines in which his articles appeared, including The Rising Star during the 1930s and 40s.

This is a collection of articles written by founding members of The Church of Light, Lenora Conwell, Ed Doane, Maria Major and Elbert Benjamine.
This book captures the energy, spirit and altruism of the Aquarian Age and of each player who had had a role in the reestablishing of the stellar religion known as The Religion of the Stars.
Each and every spiritual seeker is on a quest of self-discovery where we yearn to know what role we are to fulfill in God’s Great Plan. In our search, we ask the questions; “Who am I?” “Where do I come from?” and “Where am I going.”
Hermetic Philosophy, as outlined in The Brotherhood of Light Lessons offers responses to these questions. It teaches that we humans are composite beings, comprised of both physical and non-physical counterparts. The study of genes, DNA and heredity can offer insights into the functioning of our physical beings, but falls short in answering questions about our mind, consciousness and the soul. Hermetic Astrology offers insights into the functioning of our non-physical beings, and in many ways operates as a key to our spiritual DNA, describing the inner workings of our not-conscious mind or soul.
Come into the Light explores the Hermetic Worldview in an easy-to-understand language. It stands up to Atheistic Materialism and suggest that there is a path where science and religion are compatible – that path is Hermeticism. It proposes that the best path to self-knowledge is through having a map of your soul – your birth chart, and that the best approach for understanding that map is Hermetic Astrology. An added benefit, this book contains a glossary of astrological terms and copious notes and references.
The author, Dennis Sutton, has over 30 years’ experience with Hermetic Astrology and The Brotherhood of Light Lessons, and in his own language seeks to describe the evolution of the soul, its descent into matter, and its journey back to spirit. He explores the origins of this thing called “life,” and describes how each person is a unique and individual expression of the divine searching to fulfill his or her mission in the Cosmic Scheme of Things. He offers insights into the workings of nature, and the nature of the soul. Dennis generously offers his writings as a fundraising effort for The Church of Light.

Astrologer, occult scientist and founder of The Church of Light
By DW Sutton
Your life is a journey of discovery, and if you’ve discovered Elbert Benjamine you know you’ve encountered someone special – a grandmaster of astrology, occult forces and spiritual living. Elbert explains the facts of life, invites you to discover yourself and then makes your journey of self-discovery so much more meaningful, interesting and exciting. But chances are you know very little about this remarkable man and the life he lived.
You can Google Elbert Benjamine – CC Zain – but most internet sites provide biographical sketches that are riddled with errors and hopelessly inadequate. They just don’t help. And as time unrelentingly marches on, Church of Light members in the 21st-century know very little about the founder of their church and the spiritual leader who re-established the Religion of the Stars here on Earth.
So who was Elbert Benjamine? How did he prepare himself for the work he was chosen to do? And how did he acquire the information, write the words, get the words published, teach, recruit students, supervise all the research work and manage Church of Light affairs? Chances are you know very little about the man who captures your imagination and has you wondering….

In 1924 the question was asked ‘why don’t we investigate birthcharts and find out why people do what they do?’ and thirty years later astrology had been transformed from a superstitious belief system into an evidence-based science supported by fact, after fact, after fact. These facts – representing the science of astrology – provide Hermetic Astrology with a scientific foundation and you with a sense of security and confidence.
But today, 90 years after that question set the astrology revolution in motion, too much astrology is unsubstantiated theory and if you’re a serious student of astrology you can’t afford to use teachings and practices that are not verified by evidence-based statistical research.
Now, for the first time, all these facts have been assembled into a single volume that allows students quick and easy access to all the currently known facts of astrology.
In the very smart 21st century ancient teachings have been scientifically upgraded to become the new frontier in life-knowledge and self-understanding.
This book is divided into three parts:
Part 1 focuses on the Soul and Stars...
Part 2 introduces you to the idea ofself-science and scientific study of self...
Part 3 explores measurement, mathematics, astrodynes and the truth about whoyou are...
