In the Washington chart the lunation is in house 3 — communications, transportation, newspapers and neighboring countries. And some house 3 matter will be a major news story this month. But it’s the Jupiter-Neptune — house 2-house 8 opposition — that will steal the show. On September 17 — with Jupiter opposition Neptune in the sky at its peak power and discord — Janet Yellen will announce if US interest rates will rise or fall or stay on hold and by then the markets will be suffering from rate-hike hysteria. You can place a bet on what you think the Fed will do. Saturn in house 5 provides a clue. It signs for big falls on Wall Street and panicked investors and a rate hike could be the culprit although there are other triggers. And Uranus — the planet of shocks — has the President dealing with unexpected developments and making radical administrative changes.

Uranus rules the radical element, radicalization, extremists, social unrest, strikes, protests, demonstrations, revolutions, sudden change, sensational developments, freedom and liberty. This Moon aspect stimulates progressed Sun square (obstacle) birthchart Uranus — peak power and discord date is January 13, 2016 — and marks for radical political change; political shocks; startling moves by world leaders; changes in government; weird politics; social/political unrest; anti-government protests; uprisings; revolutions; shocks and startling developments; radicalization via social media and progressive social change. Uranus rules the never ending reform agenda.

Progressed Moon is inconjunct (expansion) birthchart Mercury > peak date is October 6. Mercury is the planet of talks, conferences, debates, announcements, rhetoric, science, education and controversy. End date is November 5, 2015. When Mercury was in Gemini it drove the social media agenda but on February 17, 2015 it moved to Cancer so now the debate and controversy is about homes and housing.

On September 28 (hot on the heels of Jupiter opposition Neptune in the sky) progressed Moon moves to form a square (obstacle) aspect with birthchart Pluto in the Aquarian Age chart > peak power and discord date is October 28. The equinox is currently square (obstacle) progressed Pluto and this Moon progression will trigger a drastic international crisis. Coercion, inversion and disunity are Pluto’s trademarks.

Sky watch

In July 2015 Jupiter in the sky moved to form a high-discord square aspect with Saturn > peak discord date was August 3. It signed for a major business/currency disturbance — the Greek-debt crisis, Russia’s financial crisis and the Chinese stock market crash. Then in August Jupiter moved to form a high-discord opposition aspect with Neptune. It signed for financial uncertainty, currency chaos and crashing share markets. China devalued its currency and currency markets went into a tail-spin and on August 24 stock markets around the world fell on fears of a China economic slowdown. The aspect will reach peak discord September 17. Jupiter will then form a parallel aspect with Neptune on September 18 and a trine (luck) aspect with Pluto on October 11.

During September, October and November 2015 Saturn moves to form a high-discord square aspect with Neptune > peak discord date is November 26. It signs for falling commodity prices, falling oil prices and a bear market as uncertainty escalates, confidence plummets and fear and chaos reign. But don’t believe a word the expert commentators are saying. Neptune’s capacity to confuse and deceive makes it impossible to realistically assess what’s really going on.

In the Pluto cycle Pluto semisextile Mercury ends December 7, 2015 and Pluto sextile Pluto ends November 11.

In the Neptune cycle Neptune is conjunction Mercury September 21 and on September 24 Neptune inconjunct Pluto starts.

In the Uranus cycle Uranus is parallel Venus November 9 and parallel Moon and Mars November 11.

In the Saturn cycle Saturn is parallel Jupiter October 25 and parallel Mercury October 29. Saturn parallel Moon ends October 12. On September 15 Saturn moves to form a parallel aspect with Uranus — peak date is November 2. Saturn measures the fear index and provides a security, austerity and poverty and loss report.

In the Jupiter cycle Jupiter moves to form an opposition aspect with Moon October 10 > peak date is October 15. Jupiter provides a financial, religion and law report.

There are 12 aspects formed in the Mars cycle. Mars provides a war, violence, accident and fire report. Events will occur 36 hours before or after the aspect’s peak date. Events mapped by Sun aspects in the Sun cycle will occur on the date indicated.
