For use when we lack vitality, desire to unduly exert authority or express dictativeness to others.

Constructive Power Urges express as Rulership and control over the environment, and in cooperation and sympathetic understanding of views and problems of others.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! Manifest through me Thy Life, Light and Love. Aid me to conduct my affairs with dignity, courage and consideration for others. I desire to express self assurance—for my soul is at one with the All. Whatever Life may bring to me, I can with Thy aid, undertake and build therewith constructively.

Afflicted Pluto: Discordant Universal Welfare Urges

For use at times when we are in domestic turmoil, unduly changeable, or in group turmoil, under coercion and unduly negative.

Constructive Domestic Urges express as Adaptability in relation to public or domestic life. They are characterized by persistence in endeavors to the point of ability.

Constructive Universal Welfare Urges express as Spirituality by lively, energetic, and resourceful action with others for the welfare of All.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! Grant that I may have only constructive, positive activity in my life. Let me be a protecting influence to all who may need me. Let my purpose and interest in life be for their welfare. I earnestly desire that my energies go constructively and actively beyond my daily round of duty to all who are in need and for whom I have the ability to assist.

Afflicted Uranus: Discordant Individualistic Urges

For use at times when thought is disturbed and difficult; when we are restless and apt to be extreme in our viewpoint or action; or, when there are drastic changes in our lives.

Constructive Intellectual Urges require individual Self Expression in the environment thru concentration, use of the mind and analysis of situations.

Constructive Individualistic Urges inspire Originality and best express thru moderate viewpoints, tolerance and avoidance of extremes in all things.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! I rely upon Thy Power to bring to a successful conclusion those matters thru which I cannot clearly see the way and in which I have done my best. Bring to me the realization that happiness and benevolence, confidence and trust in Thee will cause all things to work out for my ultimate good. Inspire me to see only good in others.

For use at times when our will and healthy boundaries are characterized by too much pliancy; emotional and affectional crises; and, when we tend to be vague, negatively imaginative, and unduly sensitive.

Constructive Social Urges express as Affection, asserted thru strength of character in companionship and social contacts, and in appreciation for the beautiful in life.

Constructive Utopian Urges express as Idealism and in the practical expression of the plans and schemes the imagination can picture.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! Aid me to attain calmness when emotion would threaten my poise. Aid me to be reasonable when I would feel hurt and unreasonable. Aid me to know that others will give love to me only as I radiate love to them. Inspire me to face reality courageously, confidently and calmly.

Prayer for an Afflicted Mars: Discordant Aggressive Urges

For use at times when strife, haste and waste of energy, harshness, temper or violence enter our life.

Constructive Aggressive Urges express as Initiative in the use of energies for constructive work and action, building up instead of tearing down.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! Temper my aggressive activity with gentleness in all that I do and say. Direct my love into channels of care and protection for others. Let the chief interest of my life be constructive service to the weak and helpless.

Let me appraise life fully and analyze completely, with sound judgment and good sense the experiences the environment brings to me. Inspire me to take pleasure in being an efficient thinking member of the Universal Order.

For use at times of work, responsibility, loss, worry or undue self interest.

Constructive Safety Urges express as System and order in life and habits. They are also associated with economy, elimination of waste and efficiency of effort.

O Thou Eternal Spirit, in Whom I live, move, breathe and have my Being! Awaken in me the knowledge that joy and mirth, love and music, beauty and art are good. Help me to express more of the gaiety in life. Give me courage in difficulties, let me smile in adversity and above all bring to my heart the realization that the interest of all is more important than the interest of self.
